Respect Cinema is an annual short film event in Exeter dedicated to promoting multiculturalism, diversity, and social inclusion. A collaboration between Wiseman Productions, Exeter Respect Festival, and Exeter Phoenix, the initiative showcases international and local films to foster community conversation and participation.

Film Submissions
Calling all Filmmakers - We're seeking films focused on multiculturalism, diversity and community inclusion to be featured at Respect Cinema 2027. The films will be shown at Studio 74 @ the Exeter Phoenix with a view to building an annual south west UK film festival in the coming years. Films can be in any style -fiction/non-fiction, animations, musical. Existing films will be considered but we encourage creators to craft something unique and powerful that speaks to these themes.
