Dan Wiseman has been telling stories on film since studying TV Production (BA Hons, 2012). While studying, he directed, co-produced and shot Safety in the Balance for the Civil Aviation Authority, a training film presented by Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson and still used today.

He went on to found Wiseman Productions, crowdfunding his way onto Exeter City’s centenary tour of Brazil, which became his first feature documentary. He is now filming Us (us-doc.com), a documentary asking what kind of world we want to live in, with interviews from Cannes to Dubai to LA.

Dan is media co-ordinator for Exeter Respect Festival, has established an annual cinema screening event with plans to grow into a film festival for underrepresented voices, and is spearheading an initiative to create a framework for collective funding of UK creative industry players. He is also a trustee of Onda Solidária and a Director of NewBias Solutions CIC.
